Gift of Hope

Each year, the Wings of Hope Gifts of Hope Program provides small gifts of “personal” items and much-needed gift cards for groceries and other basic needs to breast cancer patients who are identified by the social workers at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (TBCC) as clients in need of financial support.  The gifts are delivered around Christmas time each year and provide patients and their families with a much-needed dose of cheer and comfort – a time when funds are short, and when spirits can drop precipitously. The requests for assistance have never been as high as they are this year. 

The social workers at the TBCC have indicated to us that the Gift of Hope Program is a very important source of financial support for families in need that live, or have recently lived, with a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.

This year we are looking for donations for the following items:

·         15 X $20 Gift Cards for Tim Hortons

·         30 X $20 Gift Cards for Subway

·         30 X $30 Gift Cards for Sephora

·         30 X $500 Gift Cards for Superstore
